Choosing the size:

Below we mention just some of the reference breeds and remember that these suggestions are based on dogs that meet the weight and size standards.

We recommend that you measure the length and circumference of your dog's snout as follows:

Length: from the tip of the snout to the part where it begins to curve, just before reaching the eyes;

Circumference: also just below the eyes, measure the circumference of the snout - it is important that the mouth is closed.

Measurements:

- Size PP (1) is indicated for a circumference of 22cm and a length of 5cm. Reference breeds for this size are Yorkshire, Bichon Frise and Maltese.

- Size P (2) is indicated for a circumference of 27cm and a length of 6cm. Reference breeds for this size are Mini Poodle, Mini Schnauzer and Westie.

- Size M (3) is indicated for a circumference of 28cm and a length of 8cm. Reference breeds for this size are Beagle, Border Collie, Cocker Spaniel, Corgi and Schnauzer.

- Size G (4) is indicated for a circumference of 32cm and a length of 9cm. Reference breeds for this size are Australian Shepherd, Dalmatian, Husky and Vizla.

- Size XG (5) is indicated for a circumference of 35cm and a length of 11cm. Reference breeds for this size are Boxer, Bull Terrier, Doberman, German Shepherd, Golden, Labrador and Weimaraner.

- Size XXG (6) is indicated for a circumference of 41cm and a length of 13cm. Reference breeds for this size are Akita, Great Dane, Newfoundland and Rottweiler.

Note: We suggest that the measurement be taken according to the instructions above, as dogs of the same breed can have large variations in muzzle size to the point of having different muzzle measurements for the same breed.
