Ginovet Vetnil Effervescent for Cattle, Sheep and Horses 2 Tablets
Ginovet® - effervescent tablets that treat and/or prevent uterine infection, while promoting the expulsion of the placenta. The antimicrobial action of tetracycline hydrochloride is broad, combating many aerobic, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
The effervescent excipient of Ginovet® allows rapid disintegration of the tablet and diffusion of the active ingredient throughout the uterine cavity, helping to clean the purulent content, favoring a more effective action of the antimicrobial agent.
INDICATION
Ginovet® effervescent tablets are indicated to combat the main causative agents of endometritis and vaginitis in:
Mares: caused by Streptococcus zooepidemicus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Corynebacterium equi, Haemophylus equigenitalis.
Nuts: caused by Staphylococcus hyicus, Streptococcus spp., E. coli, Klebsiella spp. and Mycoplasma spp.
Cows: caused by Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp., E. coli, Actinomyces pyogenes, Klebsiella spp., Fusobacterium necrophorum , Proteus spp . and Pseudomonas spp.
Sheep: caused mainly by Campylobacter spp.
It is also indicated as a preventive agent for endometrial infections in retained placenta, after cesarean sections, in dystocia or when there is obstetric assistance, in fetotomies and in normal births when hygiene conditions are deficient.
HOW TO USE
Mares and cows:
Treatment:
• Endometritis: introduce 2 tablets per day into the uterine cavity until completely cured.
• Vaginitis: 1 tablet per day until the process subsides.
Control:
• In case of retained placenta: after 12 hours, 2 to 3 tablets distributed throughout the uterine cavity, between the endometrium and the secondaries. If necessary, repeat on the 3rd, 6th and 9th day.
• After delivery or fetotomy: introduce 1 to 2 tablets into the uterus.
Pigs and sheep:
Treatment:
Endometritis: introduce 1 tablet into the uterine cavity per day until completely cured.
Vaginitis: 1 tablet per day until the process resolves.
Control:
In case of retained placenta: after 12 hours, 1 tablet in the uterine cavity, between the endometrium and the secondaries. If necessary, repeat on the 3rd, 6th and 9th day.
After delivery or fetotomy: introduce 1 tablet into the uterus.
Any change in dosage and method of use is at the discretion of the veterinarian.
