Neurolytic for Equines Vetepin 50ml - Vetnil
Vetepin® is a neurolytic that promotes temporary, selective and immediate blocking of unmyelinated type C nerve fibers, without damaging myelinated type A nerve fibers. Therefore, it does not impair the function of motor or proprioceptive fibers.
INDICATION
Indicated for equines in the reversible blocking of type C nerve fibers, suppressing chronic pain and aiding in the treatment of disorders of the locomotor system, such as:
• Neuralgia;
• Myalgia;
• Myositis;
• Muscle contracture;
• Degenerative joint disease;
• Bursitis;
• Synovitis;
• Periostitis;
• Osteitis of the distal phalanx.
HOW TO USE
To be used perineurally.
Dosage: varies depending on the area to be treated.
• Digital nerves: 2 to 4mL;
• Palmar and plantar nerves: 3 to 5 mL;
• Superficial peroneal nerve: 3mL;
• Deep peroneal nerve: 5 to 7 mL;
• Tibial nerve: 5 to 7mL;
• Metacarpal/metatarsal periostitis and/or intermetacarpal/intermetatarsal osteitis: 5mL.
• The frequency of application and dosages may be changed according to the veterinarian's instructions.
