The Halti No Pull Harness is a tool for dogs prone to pulling on the leash. With a unique design that offers two anti-pull functions, this dog harness provides control at the back. The stop-pull lifting feature automatically activates when your dog begins to pull, while the front control ring provides additional no-pull support for stronger dogs.
What are the differences between No Pull Harness?
1 - Does not slide on the dog's chest
The unique design of the Halti No Pull Harness means it stays securely in place during walks to prevent pulling. The padded chest panel also helps ensure comfort and effectiveness.
2 - Find your best fit
The Halti No Pull Harness comes in 3 different sizes. Great for large dogs and small dogs, the convenient snap ensures easy on and off between walks.
3 - Comfortable and safe
The shape and lightweight design of this dog harness allows for a wide range of movement. The soft, durable fabric combined with underarm sleeves helps keep your dog comfortable and cool during walks.
4 - Better together
For the ultimate no-pull experience, pair with a Halti Training Lead. This dual-clip lead provides attachment points on the front and back of the dog harness, offering optimal support and steering control.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the right size product for my dog?
To determine which size is best for your furry friend, measure around your dog's neck and follow these recommendations:
If the neck measurement is between 26 and 36cm the size is SMALL.
If the neck measurement is between 34 and 56cm the size is MEDIUM.
If the neck measurement is between 48 and 66cm the size is LARGE.
How do I get my dog used to wearing a Halti No Pull harness?
It is important to remember that having a new training aid may seem unusual to your dog. We encourage you to help your dog get used to the harness using positive association methods. Build up slowly to give your dog time to adjust.
How can I optimize the success of using a Halti no-pull product?
It’s important with all training to be patient and consistent. As soon as your dog starts pulling, stop. Only move forward again when the lead is slack. Reward success early on by regularly treating your dog when they’re not pulling on the lead, as this will encourage an enjoyable walk. For extra help, we recommend using the Halti Training Lead with your Halti collar or harness so you have more control when walking your dog.
How do I secure the rear connecting strap when my dog is not walking on a leash?
When your dog is off the leash, you can simply remove the harness or tie the excess length into a secure loop. If your dog regularly runs through undergrowth, we recommend removing the harness completely. Additionally, for models manufactured from 2021 onwards, we have implemented a design change where the rear connecting handle can be secured with a custom-made fabric loop.
How long can I keep the collar or harness on my dog?
We do not recommend leaving any type of physical training aid on your dog for long periods of time and dogs should never be left unattended using products such as collars, harnesses and muzzles. This is from a safety and wellbeing perspective as well as there is a high possibility that your dog will try to remove and chew the product.
