Farmina Vet Life Urinary Ossalati Food for Adult Dogs with Urinary Stones is a complementary food indicated for the prevention of oxalate, cystine and urate stones. It can also be indicated for dogs with advanced renal failure and dogs with irreversible disorders of uric acid metabolism. Vet Life Urinary Ossalati contains low concentrations of protein, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and sodium, helping to reduce the concentrations of urate, oxalate and cystine in the urine and leads to an alkaline urinary pH thanks to the action of potassium citrate. It also contains a low concentration of copper, preventing its toxic action in dogs that, either due to hereditary deficiencies or an incorrect diet, have difficulty eliminating excess copper through the liver. In addition, carnitine prevents the loss of muscle mass.
