Megazoo Extruded Canary Food (Cm 15) 350g
Complete food for ornamental birds, recommended for canaries during the moulting and maintenance period. Unlike what happens in nature, where the consumption of energy-rich foods is important, in captivity, without much physical activity, all excess energy is stored as fat in the body, which compromises the bird's life expectancy. MEGAZOO CANÁRIOS' philosophy is to ensure a supply of nutrients that favors quality of life.
HOW TO USE: During the resting or moulting period, provide ad libitum, as the sole source of food or with a maximum of 25% seeds. MEGAZOO CANARIES should be provided dry or slightly moistened with water (30-40% by weight). During the breeding period, it is also recommended to use MEGAZOO GRANIVORE BIRDS.
REPRODUCTION. It is essential that there is an adaptation period when introducing the food for the first time to the bird. During this period, it is advisable to provide this product mixed with the usual food in the following proportion:
Day 1 - 5: ¼ MEGAZOO ¾ usual food
Day 6 - 12: ½ MEGAZOO ½ usual food
Day 13 - 17: ¾ MEGAZOO ¼ usual food
Day 17 onwards: 100% MEGAZOO.
For birds that have difficulty adapting to the new food, reduce the seed intake by 10% every 5 days or extend the period (especially the first and second phase) for up to 40 days.
